ENGLISH in ACTION 2019 (Monday 2/11– Friday 2/15 )
This year 87 students joined the EiA project and experienced a great week of talking, playing and acting English. Due to this big number they were taught in seven groups by native speakers coming from London, Swindon, Hitchin, Crewe and Hastings.
Jennie Khan(senior teacher) and Sheetal Shah - 1a and 1b.
Suzanne Kayand Theo Johnson - 2a and 2b.
Anna Evans, Wendy Davis and Chris Govier - 3a, 4a and 4b.
The groups worked on different topics at levels ranging from A1 (first class) to B1 (fourth class). Lots of classroom activities were done, games played and projects worked out. At the end of the week all groups did a stage performance for the parents and each student received his/her EiA certificate.
I´d like to thank all parents who allowed their kids to join the action, our headmaster, Dir. Tobias Gruber, agreeing with us English teachers that this project definitely is a great way to boost our student`s motivation for learning and speaking English. And lots of thanks for our English in Action teachers who always do such a fine job in Peilstein.
